"Vital Remains is a US death metal band. Death metallists Vital Remains formed during 1989, and hail from Providence, Rhode Island - influenced by the likes of Venom, Celtic Frost, Bathory, Mercyful Fate, Sodom, and Destruction. Since Dawn of the Apocalypse, vocals were taken over by Glen Benton (frontman of well known death metal band Deicide), in 2001, though the lyrics are written by the rest of the band. Dechristianize was released in 2003 to much critical acclaim. "
Dechristianize is one of the most hateful albums against religion, it has ever made. The intro starts with rainy sound and it is heard the discussion at the background of anthem. Then first song begins with screaming of Glen Benton "'Let the killing begin!". The lyrics are very striker and provocative. Especially the song "Dechirstianize" has strong rebellious lyrics "I deny god and all religion!". The albums is composed of long song which have lots of long solos. If you like death metal, you have to listen this album!
